Stuck With Her

I walk around hours on end in a daze.

Lost, trapped, confused, like mouse in a maze.

Wanting back the love I lost in the past.

Not seeing the love I have now, knowing it won’t last.

It’s temporary, it’s not real, it can’t be right.

It’s you, not her, I dream about every night.

Can she see you in my eyes?  Know you are on my mind?

Or is she fooled by my lies, is she really that blind?

“I’m over her” I’ve said, time and time again.

Nothing but a lie, I feel the same I did back then.

Nothing has changed; things are just like they always were.

Where will this maze lead, back to you, or stuck with her?
